Language courses for children and teenagers abroad: Accommodation

Whether you want to stay with your friends in a student residence or in the welcoming environment of a host family, choosing your accommodation is an important decision. Whichever kind of accommodation you choose, you will be communicating constantly with your hosts or fellow students. Host families and residences are selected according to a long list of demanding criteria.

With your accommodation sorted, you can make the most out of time in language immersion and get involved in the wide range of activities on offer.

Each of our partner schools has a dedicated accommodation officer and we stay in constant contact to ensure that things run smoothly.

International Atmosphere!
Residence
Make friends without borders! This is a superb international experience: You will stay in a shared or single room, you will meet people from all over the world. There are typically showers on each floor of the building. Supervised by the qualified school staff, this accommodation also includes full board, with breakfast and dinner served in the residence and lunch eaten at the school or on the daily excursion.
Our youngest students stay in a student residence. Meals are served in the canteen of the residence, or as a packed lunch in the school or on excursions. Group leaders are in charge of watching over the students 24/7 and stay in the same building.
A home from home
Host family
Staying with a host family, you will discover how locals live and will benefit from the security of a friendly environment. During the week, you eat breakfast and dinner with the family, while lunch is normally with the other students at the school or a packed lunch provided by the host family. At the weekends, you will be provided with full board.
Independent students who are comfortable using public transport or a bus system run by the school are good candidates for a host family.
