Teaching and supervision
After sitting an evaluation test on the first day of classes, you are integrated into a small group of your level. You are taught by native speakers who are experienced in teaching languages to young learners and teenagers. The classes focus on communication and even complex ideas are taught in an interactive and fun way.
Lessons are taught from Monday to Friday, almost always in the mornings, leaving the afternoons free for activities. Experienced activities coordinators supervise your leisure activities and ensure that your stay is a success. At the end of your stay, you'll receive a certificate issued by the school attesting to the language level you've achieved.
Group leaders are available 24/7 thanks to an emergency phone number.
Transport, arrivals and transfers
Upon your arrival, you will be met at the airport. A transfer service will bring you to your accommodation. On your final day, you will be accompanied back to the airport (or train station). However you choose to arrive, you will be met and brought to your place of accommodation. If you are under 18, transfers are legally compulsory, unless an adult brings you to the school at the beginning of the programme and picks you up at the end.
If parents would like to take a holiday in the same region as their children (this is quite popular), they can bring their child to the course centre by car.

Unaccompanied Minors Service
For young people travelling alone, most airlines offer an escort service. The Unaccompanied Minors (UM) service is strongly recommended for travellers under the age of 13 and some airlines insist upon it.
After check-in at the airport, an airline representative takes charge of young travellers, accompanying them through the airport and all the way to the boarding gate, where they will be met by a member of the cabin crew. Upon arrival, an airline representative will hand the child over to a school representative. On the way back, the school representative helps the young traveller to check-in and delivers him or her to the airline delegate, who will escort them through security and pass them on to the cabin crew during boarding. Parents can then meet their child upon arrival.
The fees charged by the partner schools for this extra service are indicated in the “options/extras” section of each destination, while the fees charged by the airline company will be invoiced alongside your child’s plane ticket.
Free time and supervision
Learners have some free time to rest or play among themselves. During day trips to towns and cities, students can go off in groups while supervisors provide regular meeting points. More independent teenagers will enjoy more free time, either on campus or in town, to shop, stroll and socialise with friends. However, you will always be given a meeting point where you will meet with the activity leaders at regular intervals.
Younger students will usually spend their free time on campus under the supervision of activity leaders. Through years of experience, partner schools adapt the level of supervision to the age and maturity of each student.
Prices
The prices include language lessons, accommodation (with full board) and the activities and excursions explained on the page of the school. Many schools offer additional extras including sports activities (tennis, surfing, diving, sailing, horse riding, football, etc.), intensive language courses and additional excursions.
You will find more information listed under “Options/Extras” for each school, including any additional optional activities which are to be paid for on-site. Some schools include the airport transfer in the price, otherwise you will find it in the "Options/Extras" column.
Typical weekly pocket money should be around €50 to buy phone credit, snacks, drinks, souvenirs, etc. It is also worth budgeting for a further €50 for optional activities offered on-site. Naturally, the exact figure depends on the individual.
