This is definitely the best way to make the most of your language course in Australia! By staying with a family from Sydney, you'll get a valuable insight into the daily life of the local Australians. You'll be able to communicate in English in the relaxed setting of family life and can apply everything you learn in class on a daily basis. You'll receive half-board and a single room and share the common areas with the other members of your host family. The families chosen by our partner school are welcoming and friendly and will make you feel right at home from day one.
Iglu shared apartments (minimum 2 weeks)
Live in a shared apartment with all the perks of a student residence, right in the heart of the district of Chatswood and just 30 minutes away from the school by train. You will stay in a cosy single en-suite room, equipped with a desk and plenty of storage space. Bedlinen and towels are not included, but you may purchase them at the reception of the residence. You will share the fully equipped kitchen, the dining area and the lounge with TV with 3-5 other students. The premises also include a cinema room, social spaces with games, a courtyard, bike storage and a laundry room.
You will certainly not get bored in Sydney! Living in this extraordinary city in itself opens plenty of opportunities for going out, practising sport and thus using what you have learnt in class in real life, whether with Australian people or with the other international participants.
Besides, our partner school offers such a wide range of activities that you will be spoilt for choice. Sports lovers will opt for water sports such as scuba diving, snorkelling, or surfing, or other outdoor sports such as hiking along the coastal trails, bike riding or beach volleyball. And if you’re brave enough, you can climbup the world famous Harbour Bridge! Together with the other students from the four corners of the globe, you will have the opportunity to take part in activities in local clubs (football, tennis, golf) or to do a thrilling excursion to the Blue Mountains or Jervis Bay, and to the many beautiful beaches on the east coast of this gigantic country.
