Our partner school is located in the iconic Woolworths Building in the centre of Sydney. The Town Hall train station and main bus stops are right outside the building, so all of Sydney is right at your fingertips! The school has 17 renovated classrooms, all equipped with plasma screens and the latest technology. Other facilities include a computer lab and a comfortable student lounge with a ping pong table, cable TV, a DVD-player and free Wi-Fi. There are refrigerators and microwaves in the kitchen, computers with internet access in the student lounge and vending machines for snacks and drinks. On the ground floor of the building, you'll find a supermarket and plenty of international restaurants in the immediate surroundings. It's the perfect location to learn English and get to know Sydney!

Testimonials

Lucía Muñoz Ferrer
Lucía Muñoz Ferrer
ILSC Education Group, Sydney
Duration: 8 weeks

I will always remember my stay in Sydney as one of the best experiences of my life. Since I arrived there, I knew that I couldn’t have chosen a better destination. The friendliness of the people and the special charm of this beautiful city, invite you to use your English constantly, getting lost in its streets, visiting its neighborhoods and looking at its spectacular skyscrapers. It also offers magnificent beaches, where you can always meet people from all over the world. The school, in the heart of the city, has unbeatable facilities and an international environment, ideal for learning and practicing the language. The teachers as well as the staff are very attentive and the classes are dynamic and collaborative. I’m very pleased with my progress in English and, without a doubt, this is an experience that I recommend to everyone. If I could myself, I would repeat it a hundred times. I thank a lot ESL for having made this unforgettable experience possible.

Host family
This is definitely the best way to make the most of your language course in Australia! By staying with a family from Sydney, you'll get a valuable insight into the daily life of the local Australians. You'll be able to communicate in English in the relaxed setting of family life and can apply everything you learn in class on a daily basis. You'll receive half-board and a single room and share the common areas with the other members of your host family. The families chosen by our partner school are welcoming and friendly and will make you feel right at home from day one.

2STAY shared apartment (minimum 4 weeks, from 18 years)
At an average distance of 30-40 minutes by bus from the school, you'll share a fully furnished apartment with other international students. Choose from staying in a single or double room, and share the communal areas, including the bathroom, kitchen and living room, with your flatmates. Basic bed linen (pillow, pillowcase and sheets) is provided free of charge, but you can purchase an additional kit (blanket, bath towel and additional pillow, pillowcase and aheets) on site. There's also free Wi-Fi, a coin-operated washing machine and a dryer.

Iglu shared apartments (minimum 2 weeks)
Live in a shared apartment with all the perks of a student residence, right in the heart of the district of Chatswood and just 30 minutes away from the school by train. You will stay in a cosy single en-suite room, equipped with a desk and plenty of storage space. Bedlinen and towels are not included, but you may purchase them at the reception of the residence. You will share the fully equipped kitchen, the dining area and the lounge with TV with 3-5 other students. The premises also include a cinema room, social spaces with games, a courtyard, bike storage and a laundry room.

You will certainly not get bored in Sydney! Living in this extraordinary city in itself opens plenty of opportunities for going out, practising sport and thus using what you have learnt in class in real life, whether with Australian people or with the other international participants.
Besides, our partner school offers such a wide range of activities that you will be spoilt for choice. Sports lovers will opt for water sports such as scuba diving, snorkelling, or surfing, or other outdoor sports such as hiking along the coastal trails, bike riding or beach volleyball. And if you’re brave enough, you can climbup the world famous Harbour Bridge! Together with the other students from the four corners of the globe, you will have the opportunity to take part in activities in local clubs (football, tennis, golf) or to do a thrilling excursion to the Blue Mountains or Jervis Bay, and to the many beautiful beaches on the east coast of this gigantic country.
