Living with a Canadian family will allow you to improve your knowledge of the English language on a daily basis and to get to have a deep understanding of the culture and the customs of the country. The families live between 30 and 60 minutes away from the school by public transport. You will stay in a single room with full board provided and will share the common rooms (kitchen, bathroom, living room) with the family members.
Shared apartment (from 18 years)
The shared apartment proposed by our partner school in Calgary is located only 3 minutes' walk away from the course centre. Staying on the 19th and 28th floor of a modern building, with a magnificent view of the city and the mountains, it consists of two single bedrooms and one twin bedroom (to share it with a student of the same gender, if you're travelling alone). The bathroom and the equipped kitchen are to be shared between flatmates. The open dining room serves as a relaxation area and has a flat-screen television. Internet access (WiFi) is free, bedlinen is provided and you will be able to use the coin laundry room. A cleaning service attends to the rooms every week. On the ground floor of the building, there is a small grocery store and on the 2nd floor you have free access to the fitness room and a basketball court. The bus stop of the urban network is located in front of the SSC building where you will find the C-Train station which transports you into the city.
