Our partner school is housed in three Regency-style buildings in the centre of Brighton, near the famous Royal Pavilion and The Lanes. A stone's throw from the school, you'll find museums, galleries, theatres, an indoor public swimming pool, an ultramodern public library, plus numerous restaurants, shops and nightclubs. The school boasts an internet café, free Wi-Fi, an independent study centre, a library with DVDs, books and magazines; a TV/video multimedia centre, a language lab and a computer room. You'll have everything you need to become an expert in the language of Shakespeare and T.S. Eliot! After class, check out Brighton Beach, less than 10 minutes away on foot, and visit London at weekends in just an hour by train!

St Giles InternationalBrighton
Duration: 24 weeks

My stay was perfect and I intend to return there. I really liked Brighton as it is a city which has a lot of what London has to offer but it is smaller and more practical. This city allowed me to meet many people who I wouldn't have had the opportunity to meet elsewhere and thanks to the school, I was able to get to know students from various backgrounds and cultures. My host family? I had the impression that I was at home!! Also, as they were real Arsenal supporters, I was often able to go to see matches for free in London.

I have good memories of my trip to England, especially of my host family! I was placed in a welcoming, simple, lively and pleasant family that encouraged me to speak. At the school, the atmosphere was really great and I attended high quality courses.
In the school as well as in the city, there was great cultural diversity: the students come from all over the world with the same goal: learning the language. We were often together during activities. As I am writing these few lines to you, I am preparing my second language study trip, still in Brighton, still in the same school.

Brighton is a cool and open-minded city, where I felt confortable since day 1! In Brighton, you can find amazing pubs and clubs every single day of the week. Also, there are plenty of restaurants and – really – I was never disappointed! Every restaurant I tried was good. My host family was amazing, very open-minded and welcoming! The school was also very good; the teachers were really nice and motivating. Brighton is an extraordinary city, where you can make new friends and do anything you want…

Using your English in a sporting or social context is a great way to develop the skills you will have acquired in class. It is also a great way to make friends with students from all over the world! This is why our partner school offers students the chance to participate in activities and outings each week, some free or at reduced prices, during the week and on weekends. The program includes sporting activities such as basketball, football or tennis, but also cultural excursions to museums, the theatre or cinema, not to forget the nights out: pub, nightclub or to the Babylon Lounge Club, for example. Weekend trips are also offered: Cambridge, Oxford, Portsmouth and, of course, London.
