Manchester is a friendly and open-minded city, where it’s easy to chat with the locals. Be sure to visit the Museum of Sciences and Industry, then stop in one of the many traditional pubs in the centre. Visit the “curry mile” to taste spicy Indian dishes, considered by many to be the finest in England! Sample Manchester’s unique nightlife in the Northern Quarter, Canal St, Deansgate, Oxford Road and the Printworks, and you’ll see that Mancunians have fully earned their reputation as partiers! Shopping addicts will love the boutiques in the town centre and their enticing prices. If you wish to see more of the country, set off to explore the surroundings: the Lake District, the Peak District, the port of Liverpool, North Wales and Chester.
