One thing is pretty clear: you'll be warmly welcomed in Ireland! Your host family will help you dive into the language, the Irish culture and a warm family atmosphere. You'll stay in a single room with half-board included. Usually, families live in north Dublin, up to 50 minutes from the school by public transport.
Charleston Road Studio Apartments residence
The residence is located to the south of the city centre, in a popular student district. It will only take you 30 minutes by tram to reach the course centre and the heart of Dublin. The residence is housed in a gorgeous 19th-century building which has been entirely renovated. The single or double rooms (for two students booking at the same time) all have a private bathroom, a kitchenette and a corner lounge with TV. A pleasant garden is situated behind the building. Bed linen and bath towels are provided, bedrooms are cleaned weekly, there are free laundry facilities and free Wi-Fi throughout the building.
Archway Court Shared Apartments residence
This residence is located on the North side of Dublin’s city centre, close to the shopping facilities of Henry Street and O’Connell Street and around 10-15 minutes away from the school building by public transport. The residence opens onto an inner courtyard and offers several spacious, fully furnished apartments. Each apartment consists of 4 single rooms, two bathrooms, a common comfortable TV lounge and a fully equipped kitchen. To take advantage of the free Wi-Fi access, please bring your laptop with you. Coin-operated laundry facilities are located in the basement of the residence. Bedlinen is provided but towels are not. Students are responsible for keeping the apartment clean.
The school offers a varied program of leisure activities that showcases the numerous riches of the Irish culture while creating an environment that is conducive to meeting other students and practising the language outside of class. Students can discover the city, which is considered to be one of Europe’s most dynamic capitals, at their own pace, with its hundreds of pubs and a rapidly expanding music scene. The contrast is even more surprising once you are outside of Dublin: the Irish countryside offers spectacular scenery, studded with legends and the magic of days gone by.
