Our partner school’s main building is located on the foundations of St. Mary's Abbey, in the centre of historic Dublin. Combining the past and present with style, the building boasts modern teaching facilities and a tastefully converted interior behind its original stone walls. The classrooms, all with interactive whiteboards, are spacious and comfortable, and you'll be able to socialise and practise English with your friends in the student lounge and café. Other facilities include a computer room, a library and a large theatre room in the basement of the abbey. The school has an additional course centre located 10 minutes’ away on foot near O’Connell Street. Housed in an elegant Georgian building, this centre is comprised of 8 classrooms, a student café and a computer room. Free Wi-Fi is offered in both course centres.

Do you think you've made progress?

Immer hilfsbereit und ready for party!

Leana Fustinoni
ISI, Dublin
Duration: 12 weeks

I have improved my English a lot since I arrived, I feel more confidence to speak in English nowadays and my vocabulary has increased on enormous way. I really do love “break time” because during breaks I have met friends from different countries and shared experiences with them. We had a great time shopping, visiting restaurants and coffee shops, Dublin is a city completely different from Geneva, is ever green!. When my parents came to see me we’ve enjoyed the green Dublin bus tour we visited a huge amount of places like museums, galleries, monuments and parks.

I really enjoyed this city and especially the people. Irish people is so friendly, warm and helpful such as my host-family. I really love spend time with them, especially at lunch and dinner because my hostmother cooks delicious spicy dishes. They are warm and talkative persons, my hostfather is Hindi/South African and my hostmother is Irish so we have a great mixture at home. My hostfamily lives next to Howt beach and I really love to go jogging there, the place is very peaceful.

I would definitely recommend ISI to a friend! It's a great school and it has been a wonderful experience for me. The ISI staff is great, guys from reception always helped me, they are friendly, polite and efficient. Trish has helped me a lot since my arrival; she is always smiling and ready to help with any situation. I would like to let my friends know about their facebook page and keep in touch with them.

This has been a great opportunity to learn English abroad!!

Since the very first day, I was warmly welcomed and taken care of. My flat is walking distance to the school, which is architecturally really nice, with spacious classrooms. Dublin’s atmosphere is really good – many young people, in a festive city! In a nutshell, friendly and competitive school, lovely city and young and active people.

You will stay in a single room and will have a quiet place for studying. You'll have half-board during the week and full board at weekends.

In the centre of Dublin, the offer of leisure activities will hold you spellbound after classes! The city and its surroundings abound with possibilities to amuse yourself and to improve your mind. Whether roaming in order to find a rare souvenir or discovering a pub with an evocative finish, going around a museum or art gallery, visiting the mythical abandoned detention centre of Kilmainham Gaol in the style of a cathedral- or playing golf on the legendary public fairways along the divided coasts...you will not get through the various possibilities to immerse yourself in the special atmosphere of this city!
Every day, our partner school puts an activities programme in place which the students get strongly involved in. The weekday afternoons are filled with a combination of free and paid tours to Dublin’s top tourist spots, free school clubs such as drama, video and Irish culture, as well as a very popular weekly evening event. Irish music pub evenings, international food fairs and monthly ISI parties all feature on the programme. What’s more, every Saturday throughout the year students can take a discounted bus tour to Ireland’s most famous tourist destinations!
