To surround yourself with the English language and Scottish culture, our partner school offers host family accommodation. Choose from single room accommodation with half board or breakfast only. You can also choose the private bathroom option at an extra charge. The families are all located near the town centre and it will take you approximately 25 minutes with public transports to go to the school.
Homes for Students residence
Stay in style in this student residence, just a 20-minute walk from the language school in downtown Aberdeen or 12 minutes away by bus with a stop right on your doorstep. Your ensuite private room comes with a desk and a small double bed (bring your own sheets), while shared spaces include an open-plan kitchen and living area with a dining table, sofas and a TV, plus a laundry room. Common areas are cleaned every two weeks, and you can also enjoy bike storage and an onsite gym! It’s got everything you need for a comfortable, social stay in Aberdeen.
Liberty Living Rosemount residence (available in July/August - from 18 years)
For those who wish to live independently, the school also offers accommodation at the LIBERTY LIVING Rosemount residence, which is located in the charming residential area of Rosemount, near to Westburn Park, just 10 minutes' walk from the course centre. Single rooms, with shared or en-suite bathroom and toilets, are available in 3-, 4- or 7-bedroom apartments equipped with a shared kitchen and a living room. High-speed internet access is available free of charge and residents have access to laundry facilities inside the building.
Please note: all students are required to share cleaning duties and are responsible for washing their own bedlinen, as housekeeping is not provided.
You will not get bored in Aberdeen. Enjoy the pubs, museums, concerts and many dance, music and drama festivals … You need to take part in a Ceilidh, a traditional Scottish dance festival - a great way to meet local people and warm up in winter! Aberdeen is also a paradise for outdoor activities: hiking, golf, mountain biking and kitesurfing are on offer.
Our partner school offers excursions at weekends, such as tours in the old town, visits of the most beautiful castles and Whisky distilleries in the highlands. It also organises international food parties with dishes prepared by students from the school as well as sports activities such as football, bowling or golf.
