After careful consideration regarding my destination I chose to go to Bournemouth, in the south of England, this summer. I chose this destination mostly because of its long sandy beaches (very rare in England) and the fact that it is quite a big city but not too much: the right balance between London and a very small town. The landscapes of the coast are beautiful, such as Jurassic coast, and the islands, especially the Isle of Wight, are easily accessible by ferry. There are some breathtaking nature reserves. I stayed at Dorchester House, a very nice student residence with people of all nationalities. The (big) plus is that it was located exactly halfway between my school (Beet School) and the city centre/beach area. That allowed me to walk all around town and when I went out it was convenient to be able to come back home by foot (about 10 minutes). The school staff was the most adorable and the most welcoming in the world, they did not just provide school supervision, they turned into a second family! I recommend everybody this language adventure in Bournemouth!
