Brighton is a great place to shop. The most popular shopping areas are North Laine and the Lanes. North Laine is a grid of streets between the train station and Brighton Pavilion. You will find all kinds of shops there including independent and vintage clothes shops, book shops, music shops, antiques shops and a wide variety of bars and cafes. There are market stalls at the weekends.
The Lanes are a sprawl of winding streets and alleys near the seafront that are best known for jewellery. East Street is great for clothes. Churchill Square Shopping Centre is where most of the bigger brands (Urban Outfitters, H&M, Zara, etc) have their stores. Learn English in Brighton
