Host family
As California is one of the most multicultural states, host families can be very diverse. Staying with one of them allows you to get an idea of the American way of life! You’ll be welcomed in a single room with a shared bathroom and can choose between half-board or breakfast only. If you want a private bathroom, you can request the "superior" option. For the “standard” option, families live 35-50 away from the school, while the families in the “suburban” category live around 60-75 minutes away. If you're travelling with a friend, a twin room is more convenient.
