Santa Monica selbst hat mir gar nicht gefallen, da es recht schnell langweilig wird und war ziemlich enttäuscht. Durch die vielen tollen Leute die ich kennengelernt habe (sowohl in der Schule als auch Einheimische), wurde meine Zeit ein besonderes Erlebnis An der Schule gibt es definitiv nichts auszusetzen. In meiner Zeit (Start in die Hochsaison) gab es einige Lehrerwechsel, was ich als eher negativ empfunden habe. Der Schule ist dies bekannt und sie versuchen dies jeweils so gut wie möglich zu vermeiden, was leider nicht immer geht.Zudem gab es auch viele neue Lehrpersonen, darunter auch einige Junge, frisch ab Ausbildung. Deren Unterrichtsstil meiner Meinung nach an einer Sprachschule (für Englisch als Zweitsprache) nicht passend ist und eher an eine High School (Englisch als Muttersprache) gehört.Trotzdem sind die Lehrpersonen mehrheitlich sehr kompetent und man kann seine Englischkenntnisse schnell und gut verbessern. Die Wohnungen im Barrington Plaza sind klein aber fein. Es wird wöchentlich gereinigt und die Bettwäsche gewechselt.

I decided to study English in Los Angeles because of the warm weather. I like the cultural side of Los Angeles and the variety of museums attracted me as well. Los Angeles has lots of places to see and explore.
I have met so many new people and friends, which I did not expect before I came here. I have also gotten to know American people through one of my classmates and from hanging out. By interacting with people, I have seen more clearly how different each culture can be. Meeting new people has been exciting, and this will be my best memory of my time here.
My speaking has especially improved. I can practice speaking English all the time here by talking with my friends as well as by meeting new people. Classes have been helping me improve my English a lot, too. Grammar is not a main focus in my classes, because my classmates and I all already have a good knowledge of English grammar, so it is not a problem to focus on other parts of English during classes. Regarding listening, it has improved, but I would say it has been refreshed more than improved.
The class standards are high. Discussions and debates during classes encourage deeper thought and involvement, both individually and as a group.

Aqua Marina Del Rey superior shared apartments (from 18 years)
This residential complex offering multiple comfortable and well-designed studios and apartments is located south of Santa Monica, close to Venice and around 6km north of Los Angeles Airport. The studios (1 or 2 beds) can sleep 1 or 2 people and include a lounge area and a private bathroom. The apartments can accommodate up to 4 people in two twin rooms and have two bathrooms and a lounge. In both cases, you will have the use of a fully equipped kitchen and a patio. The apartments and studios are air-conditioned, bedlinen and towels are provided and housekeeping is included.
