EC, Toronto
Duration: 10 weeks

I’ve been studying English in Toronto for 10 weeks now, and it’s been a great experience. I met a lot of people and got to practice my English. I refreshed my language skills and am no longer afraid to speak the language.

I’m very happy with the school and its location. EC English is a good option, with excellent teachers and a great staff. They are very supportive and helpful.

I like Toronto because it’s a great city – very beautiful and multicultural. You can do all kind of activities here and everyone is very friendly.

Personally, I loved this experience.

Host family
Our partner school selects the host families with great care. They live about an hour from the course centre, whether by bus or metro, and offer a warm welcome, a single bedroom, half-board (breakfast and dinner) along with an enriching language and cultural exchange. The bathroom and common areas of the house are shared with the other members of the family. Staying with a host family means you can enjoy a safe environment and speak English continuously, from morning till evening. Some families offer private bathrooms (extra charge). Once a week, you may use the family’s laundry facilities.

Note: It is compulsory for students under 18 to stay in a single room, to book airport transfers and require a parental consent form. Students should also provide a custodianship letter if requested by the Embassy.

Parkside superior residence (from 18 years)
Less than 25 minutes from the school by metro, in the centre of the city, this residence offers everything you'll need during your stay. In a 2-bedroom apartment, you'll have your own fully furnished room and will share the living room (with a TV) and bathroom with another student. Enjoy, amongst other amenities, the gaming room, the gym, the study rooms and bike storage. Bed linen is provided, but not towels. Free Wi-Fi and a laundry room (for pay) are also available.

Note: Full board is offered from September to April and breakfast only from May to September. There are communal kitchens in the residence.
