Cape Town is a sunny town that is full of colours; it is a destination where the landscapes as well as the mix of welcoming and smiling people fill you with delight. It is a destination where you can stop and admire the sunset, and also a destination where you can dance… you would almost forget that you are there to improve your English. But the teachers are so friendly and dynamic that they know how to make you work with a good spirit! Whatever happens, you always shed a tear when you leave this international atmosphere and this town where some eventually decide to settle down for good!

The aim of my trip was not only to take a Cambridge exam, but also to combine studies with pleasure. In Cape Town, I made the most out of every day! The EC school was certainly the best aspect of my trip. The teachers were exceptional and encouraged me to always do my best. What’s more, there were only 6 students in my class, which enabled me to improve my English very fast. I was staying at the residence "Mountain View". The rooms were nice and spacious. It is the perfect accommodation option in order to meet students from all over the world. When I arrived in Cape Town, I immediately knew that it was the best place to learn English. They are plenty of bars, restaurants and clubs to enjoy yourself. I had the chance to visit unique places like Table Mountain, Robben Island, the Cape of Good Hope, etc…. I am extremely grateful to ESL for recommending the EC school in Cape Town to me. I would not have wanted to go anywhere else to take my Cambridge exam, discover new places and have fun.

I liked Cape Town a lot. It is a very active city where you can do many activities. The landscapes and atmosphere are amazing and the inhabitants are very friendly. I stayed in a residence. It was modern and always clean. Sharing the accommodation with people of so many different nationalities was a pleasure. Talking with other students enabled me to share my experience while improving my English skills. The teachers were excellent. They were not only teachers: you could talk to them if you had any problem. It was important to me and I was glad about that. I strongly recommend the EC school ! My three months in Cape Town went by so quickly and this experience will remain engraved on my memory forever.

Cape Town is terrific. Table Mountain, marvellous beaches, a cosmopolitan atmosphere – and in the heart of the city called City bowl, there is the EC Cape Town language school. I liked the school a lot. The excellent teachers foster friendly relations with the students and after the classes, a rich leisure programme is offered. The school was recommended to me by the ESL agency and I strongly recommend it to everyone. The host family was also perfect for me. These Cape Town inhabitants, who lived in the beautiful Bo-Kaap district, cooked delicious dishes for me everyday and allowed me to discover the daily life of a Muslim family from the inside.

I attended a 3 months Cambridge course that turned out to be rather demanding but undeniably useful and successful. I doubtless owe this to my outstanding teachers to whom I will be eternally grateful. Thereafter I started the most amazing internship known to mankind organized through VA Corps: two months at the Two Oceans Aquarium at the V&A Waterfront.
