Our partner school, LAL, is established in Cape Town since 1993. Since 2007, it occupies a large building which is very well-located at the heart of the fashionable district, Sea Point which is only a few minutes by car (or by taxi) from the city centre. The famous Cape Town beaches, Clifton and Camps Bay are around 10 minutes by public transport away from the school! In the new LAL Cape Town premises, students enjoy a very comfortable environment and numerous modern infrastructures for learning. In addition to the 15 classrooms, the school also includes a TV lounge, free WiFI internet access, an area for games and relaxing with a bar, a swimming pool as well as a garden which is ideal for barbecues...so many opportunities to make friends and to speak English after class! Finally, LAL Cape Town will gladly assist you in your South African adventures: in the activities office, you will be able to book all of your excursions, hire a car and get advice.

Host family
The host families live around 45-60 minutes away from the school by public transport. They have been carefully selected and are regularly checked by our partner school in order to ensure that students enjoy a high level of comfort and share the daily life of the locals, their customs and of course their language. In fact, living with a host family is undoubtedly the best form of accommodation for improving your language skills in conjunction with your lessons. Students stay in single rooms with half board provided daily.

Residence "Main Road"
Our partner school offers you the possibility to stay on the same site as the school, in the heart of the Sea Point district. Ideally situated, the residence is located only a stone's throw away from the beach and numerous shops and restaurants. You will stay in a single or double room with an en-suite bathroom and breakfast included. Bedlinen and bath towels are provided and a paying laundry room is at your disposal. You will be able to get something to eat in the cafeteria or indeed prepare your meals in the common kitchen. Here, everything is done so that you may relax after classes! A swimming pool, a garden and a barbecue area are amongst the facilities of the residence. In the lounge, you will be able, amongst other things, to watch a film in the company of other students, share a discussion, play a game of pool or have a karaoke session. A WiFi connection is available throughout the residence.

It will only take you five minutes on foot to reach the school and only ten minutes by bus to access the various animations of the city centre.  The residence includes single or double rooms with a private or shared bathroom.
