Our partner school LAL is established in Cape Town since 1993. Since 2007, it occupies a large building which is very well-located at the heart of the fashionable district, Sea Point which is only a few minutes by car (or by taxi) from the city centre. The famous Cape Town beaches, Clifton and Camps Bay are around 10 minutes by public transport away from the school! In the new LAL Cape Town premises, students enjoy a very comfortable environment and numerous modern infrastructures for learning. With more than 30 classrooms, the school also includes a TV lounge, free WiFI internet access, an area for games and relaxing with billiards tables, a bar, a swimming pool as well as a garden which is ideal for barbecues...so many opportunities to make friends and to speak English after class! Finally, LAL Cape Town will gladly assist you in your South African adventures: in the activities office, you will be able to book all of your excursions, hire a car and get advice.

Host family
The host families live around 45-60 minutes away from the school by public transport. They have been carefully selected and are regularly checked by our partner school in order to ensure that students enjoy a high level of comfort and share the daily life of the locals, their customs and of course their language. In fact, living with a host family is undoubtedly the best form of accommodation for improving your language skills in conjunction with your lessons. Students stay in single rooms with half board provided daily.

Residence
This is the most popular form of accommodation. Our partner school also offers accommodation in two residences, on the same site or close to the school. You will stay in a single or double room, with breakfast only provided. You will share a bathroom (there are optional private bathrooms) and common areas with the other students. The residence also has a WiFi connection for students.

They have been carefully selected and are regularly checked by our partner school in order to ensure that students enjoy a high level of comfort and share the daily life of the locals, their customs and of course their language. In addition to numerous excursions – like a safari in the Kruger National Park, Boulder Beach, Hermanus (the whale watching route) or Robben Island – sports are a priority in Cape Town: golf, surfing, horse riding, tennis, diving, bungee jumping… In the evening, after making the most of the beach, you can taste the local Chardonnay with your friends or enjoy the unique sounds of traditional music in the heart of Africa.
