Our partner school occupies two floors of a magnificent building located next to the famous Ala Moana Shopping Centre, a few minutes walk from Waikiki Beach. The school has 14 bright classrooms, a student lounge, as well as a video/multimedia room. Many shops, restaurants and cafés are just a few minutes away on foot. The school also offers students free Internet access.

Accomodation

Host family
This form of accommodation is very popular, and allows you to benefit from a complementary setting, outside of the classroom, in which to practise the language everyday. You will share the daily life of the locals in an authentic environment. Students have individual bedrooms and full board is provided, a considerable financial advantage. The host families are located within a 60-minute radius of the school by public transport.  
Residence
The Shinshu Kyokai Mission Dormitory is a residence that offers students single rooms at reasonable prices. It is located 15 minutes on foot and just 5 minutes by bus from the school. The University of Hawaii as well as shops are located just nearby. Thanks to many years of experience (35 years in the business) the residence staff know how to make students feel at home. The residence has 46 individual rooms with bathrooms located on each floor. Housemates share a common kitchen. Additional facilities include a washing machine and dryer, lounge room with television, coin-operated telephones, drink and snack machines and ping-pong tables.

Leisure

Those who love beaches and swimming will be enchanted and surfers will be in paradise! The school organises surfing lessons and other activities to allow you to get to know the island and the Polynesian culture, as well as the melting pot of nationalities that live there. Many social outings are also offered so that you can discover the marvels of Hawaii and make friends with other students from around the world. Finally, Honolulu offers a first class nightlife for partygoers.
