School

Our partner school ICC in Hawaii has moved into a brand new premises, in the heart of the city of Honolulu. It occupies an entire floor of a modern building of the Clifford Center, which allows it to accommodate more students whilst reducing the student numbers per class. In 11 spacious and bright classrooms, the school teaches high quality English according to proven teaching methods. A student lounge, a media room, a computer lab, a library and a cafeteria/restaurant serving traditional Hawaiian dishes complete the facilities. In the teachers' conference room, the teachers can come to find their teachers at all times in order to ask for punctual assistance. For all students, green tea and coffee are free. Around the course centre, hundreds of restaurants will allow you to discover all the variety of local and international cuisine. One of the largest shopping centres of Hawaii is located right beside the school. And what's more, the famous Ala Moana beach is located a stone's throw away, and Waikiki Beach is ten minutes away by bus.

Leisure

In the morning, or in the afternoon, depending on your level and the type of course chosen, the dream becomes reality! Mythical beaches, perfect waves, the ever-present palm trees, clear waters and the gentle breezes...Honolulu has a language study trip to paradise in store for you! The "sheltered bay" (in Hawaiian) is very popular with tourists but it has lost nothing of its charm. The magnificent Ala Moana Beach, located very near to the school, is very much appreciated by the locals and is much quieter than the famous Waikiki Beach. Surfing, obviously, but also beach volleyball, hikes to the dormant volcanoes or the large waterfalls, BBQs or beach parties...the school proposes a wide range of activities and exciting excursions. The more courageous among you will even be able to swim with the dolphins and sharks! At the weekends, you wil be able to take advantage of the excellent bus transport system (one of the best in the United States) in order to travel the length and breadth of this heavenly island! You will always find, in Oahu, lush valleys and isolated coves where you can go to enjoy the spectacle...great photos and magnificent memories await you!

Testimonial

Alison Liaudat I really like the school because the teachers are very good and there are people from a lot of different nationalities. The curriculum is great because we have a lot of fun learning. It’s not boring and we don’t just read books. We learn by playing games and all the students participate in group assignments. It’s not too strict and the learning environment is exciting and energetic. Hawai is awesome, we can learn in a very nice atmosphere and we can do a lot of activities like surfing, tennis or going to the beach. The school activities program is also really good. The school is very well located, close to shops, bars, restaurants and beaches.
