Institute of Intensive English (IIE)

Living with a host family is a unique opportunity to experience Hawaiian lifestyle first-hand while practising your English on a daily basis! These families typically live in a calm, suburban area, up 90 minutes away from the school by bus (please note that this may be longer during the peak seasons). Students will be placed in a single room with half board included, while access to the kitchen depends on the family's house rules. You’ll also be provided with bed linen and towels, as well as access to laundry facilities and free WIFi.

These spectacular condos are only 5-10 minutes away from Waikiki Beach and the school! Students can choose among different options in terms of size, views (ocean, mountain, river…) and number of bedrooms – although each room is for single use, some units include more than one bedroom. All condos include a fully-furnished private room, a bathroom and either a kitchenette or a full kitchen, as well as free WiFi.

This residence offers striking views of the Honolulu cityscape alongside the swaying palm trees that characterise the island of Hawaii – all just 15-20 minutes’ walk from both the school and the beach. The residence consists of multiple student houses, either female or mixed gender. Each house consists of 4 bedrooms, free WIFI, a living room, 2 shared bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen. Standard rooms have a desk and wardrobe. Students have the option of booking a deluxe room, which also includes an en suite bathroom and private balcony. The residence will provide towels and linen, which students can clean for a fee using the on-site laundry facilities. Students will need to cater for themselves and keep their own space clean, but the residence staff will clean the shared areas.
