I really like the school because the teachers are very good and there are people from a lot of different nationalities. The curriculum is great because we have a lot of fun learning. It’s not boring and we don’t just read books. We learn by playing games and all the students participate in group assignments. It’s not too strict and the learning environment is exciting and energetic. Hawai is awesome, we can learn in a very nice atmosphere and we can do a lot of activities like surfing, tennis or going to the beach. The school activities program is also really good. The school is very well located, close to shops, bars, restaurants and beaches.

Hi! I am finally got home. The stay was absolutely brilliant! Studying in Honolulu was a truly unforgettable experience. Everything went very well: sun, beach, learning English and… surfing of course! I hope to go back there as soon as I can… but I am not going to book a return ticket this time! It's a truly amazing place. Have a nice day!

It was one of the most beautiful experiences in my life. I would never have thought I would travel alone abroad, so far away, to Hawaii. I was so scared.

But sometimes in life, unexpected things happen. And a unique opportunity arose. I was given the possibility to discover Honolulu, swim in Waikiki Beach and observe surfers. I visited heavenly beaches such as Lanikai, I danced traditional Hula, I participated in barbecue parties on the beach together with my new friends, I went to big Island, I tasted the wonderful Kona Café and I could try the famous Macadamia nuts coated with chocolate.

I could touch a dolphin at Sea Life Park. Watch beautiful sunsets. It was simply amazing! Lazying on the beach and admiring nature’s splendour is really breathtaking.

I can only say positive things about the school. It was very well located and my teacher Tad taught me not to be scared when speaking English in public. Thanks to her kindness and patience, she immediately made us feel comfortable.

Since I opted for a destination far from Spain, I was the only Spanish student at the school. So I could speak English all the time. My classmates were from Korea, Japan or Switzerland. I loved spending time with them, I learnt a lot about their cultures. I was glad I could meet so many lovely people.

As regards accommodation, I opted for a hotel in Waikiki, the Ohana West, and a single room with kitchenette. This was exactly what I wanted. Since there were other participants staying at the hotel, I could spend unforgettable moments with them. I could taste specialties cooked by my Swiss friends and accompany them to commercial centres.

The only thing I regret is not staying longer.

I recommend this experience to anyone, whether you are 20 or 40. It is never too late to learn!

ALOHA!
