School

Close to the town centre of Biarritz (20 minutes by foot or 10 minutes by bicycle) and close to the SNCF train station and airport, our partner language school welcomes you in a large building (550 m2 ) containing all the necessary equipment to enable you to study under good conditions. The 15 spacious and air-conditioned classrooms can hold between 2 and 12 participants. The language centre building also has a projection room, a cafeteria, 3 lounges and a WiFi zone where you will be able to have free Internet access using your laptop. As for the terrace, it is an ideal spot for relaxing after class or for chatting with friends.

Accommodation

Host family
The families, who are carefully selected, live either in Biarritz itself or in the residential areas of the town. Living with the family and speaking with them on a daily basis during meals or at the weekends allows you to practise your French in a convivial and authentic atmosphere and to immerse yourself in the typical culture of the south-west of France. You will stay in a single room with half board provided.
Please note: students between the ages of 16 and 18 who stay with a host family during the summer period will be offered full-board, but will stay in a double room in return. This will be for the same price.

Residence
For students who wish to have more independance, our partner school offers accommodation in an inexpensive youth hostel which is situated only 15 minutes away from the school,the town centre as well as the beach. The modern bedrooms are for 2, 3 or 4 people. On request, hotels, studios or apartments can be organised.

 

Leisure

With its wide range of sports activities, Biarritz is a dream destination for sporty people, but lovers of culture will also be kept satisfied. Biarritz benefits from its location in the Basque country, one of the most attractive regions of France. Spain, whose border lies 25 kilometres away, invites you to make excursions there. The school offers a large programme of activities, like tennis, horseriding, wine and cheese tasting, cultural excursions or golf or surfing lessons.
