Language school Nice, Azurlingua

Our partner school is one of the most experienced schools in France in the teaching of French as a foreign language. The fact that it is located in Nice only adds to its attractiveness, as the city and its surroundings have exerted a real fascination on international students for years. Azurlingua is installed in two "Belle Epoque" buildings in the very centre of Nice, around fifteen minutes' walk from the sea, Vieux Nice and the Promenade des Anglais. The superb central garden is very appreciated by students who take advantage of the Mediterranean atmosphere of the place in order to relax there or to exchange their learning experiences. 11 modern and spacious classrooms in the school building and an outdoor classroom are used for teaching. A computer room allows students to work quietly on their computer and all of the building as well as the garden are connected to the Internet via WiFi. The high-performance audiovisual equipment allows for the application of modern teaching methods. In addition, a cyber space with free access and machines for hot and cold drinks are available to students. Learning French in Nice, it's really chic!

Host family
All of the host families chosen by our partner school live less than around thirty minutes' walk from the course centre.  A very warm Mediterranean welcome and total immersion in the French language make this accommodation option the most practical solution to apply language knowledge acquired in class in the relaxed atmosphere of your host family's home. Staying in a single room (double on request), you will benefit from half board (full board compulsory for students of 16 and 17 years) or breakfast only. Bedlinen is provided, but you will have to bring your own towels for the beach.

Residence Campus Central (from 18 years)
The residence is housed on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors of the school building and the entrance of the residence is situated on the other side of the building. You will choose between a single room and a double room (which you will occupy with another student), each with a private bathroom and WC, and you will have, on each floor, a fully equipped kitchen, TV and telephone at your disposal. Preparing nice meals with your flatmates will be a welcome opportunity to exchange your recipes with the other international students. Bedlinen is provided, bath towels must be brought individually. The common rooms are cleaned every day. Throughout the residence, Internet access is free via WiFi.

Residence Montebello (in July and August only, from 18 years)
This residence is situated in a nice private park less than a quarter of an hour from the school by public transport. Single or double rooms with a bathroom are available, bedlinen is provided every week and the common parts are cleaned daily.  A tram stop right in front of the residence facilitates access by public transport to the four corners of the city. The residence does not have a kitchen nor catering possibilities on-site. Nevertheless, the students will find numerous restaurants nearby proposing attractive prices on presentation of the student card of the school.

Every week, our partner school proposes a programme of visits and excursions which it organises in Nice or in the surrounding areas. In order to discover the Côté d’Azur, reputed and charming places such as Cannes, Monaco, Beaulieu, Grasse, Antibes Menton, Saint-Tropez and Saint-Paul-de-Vence are on the list. Nice and its old town, its port and its picturesque districts are also worth particular attention. Museums and galleries, monuments and gardens bear witness to  the artistic sensitivity of the inhabitants of this city which has welcomed numerous artists throughout the centuries. With its flower market and its Palais Lascaris, its cuisine of Mediterranean flavours and its flowery accent - Nice will enchant you with its exquisite character. Sports activities are also proposed by the school. Diving, canoeing, sailing and windsurfing are easy to practise, are a welcome supplement to the courses and an excellent opportunity to practise French with the other participants. And, in the evening, it's time for restaurant outings and discovery of the very animated nightlife of the Côté d’Azur!
