Our partner school is situated in the town centre of Sanremo, close to the historical district and only a few metres away from the sea. It is worth noting that the famous Italian writer, Italo Calvino, studied within the very walls of the building of the present language school. From an educational point of view, emphasis is placed on communication in a relaxed atmosphere, with discussion taking place regarding everyday situations, current affairs, society and Italian history and culture. Classes take place in mini-groups and the teachers are all experienced in teaching Italian as a foreign language.

Accommodation

Host family
Living with a host family during your stay in Sanremo is an excellent way of immersing yourself in the Italian culture and will provide you with the opportunity to practise your Italian daily outside of class in a relaxed, motivating atmosphere. Our partner school carefully selects local host families who generally live around 20-30 minutes away from the school. You will stay in a single room with half board provided.

Shared apartment
For students who wish to be more independent during their stay, there is also the possibility of staying in a shared apartment with other international students, located around 20-30 minutes away from the school. Each apartment has 2-3 bedrooms. You will stay in a single room and will share the kitchen, bathroom, living room, TV and washing machine with your flatmates.

Leisure

The school organises numerous leisure activities and cultural excursions: outings to the old village of “Bussana” where you can meet the local artists, or to Hanbury, the largest flower garden in Liguria; a day trip to Genoa to visit the aquarium, the largest in Europe, to Monte Carlo or the cave in Toirano. The school regularly provides information on the important shows and cultural events taking place each month. The activity program includes teacher/student nights out, in order to create a friendly rapport and encourage the exchange of cultures. This includes, for example, pizza nights, wine tasting, concerts, evenings at the movies, beach parties and boat trips.
