Barcelona is a city of style and allure. There is so much to experience in terms of its culture, tourist attractions, food and music. The city is a real metropolis, on the same level as Paris, Rome or Amsterdam. It offers a large variety of artistic events, lively activity in the streets, an intense nightlife and an international ambiance. What’s more, its geographical location allows easy access to not only the beaches of the Mediterranean coast, but also the ski slopes of the Pyrenees. On a final note, being situated in Catalonia, Barcelona’s official languages are Spanish and Catalan. Naturally, the language taught in our schools is Spanish, although the inhabitants do speak both languages.
