Since 1959, our partner school offers comprehensive and high-quality teaching. The school is situated on the Rua Actor Taborda, only a few minutes by foot away from the city centre, close to the metro station. All of the teachers have a university degree and have a good understanding of Portuguese and Portuguese-speaking culture. The 20 classrooms of the language school building are spread out over 3 building situated less than 5 minutes' walk away from each other. The school makes available a library, audiovisual material, a multimedia room, a language lab and free Internet access to its students. During breaks and after classes, the students will be able to enjoy the large terrace and the vending machines for snacks and drinks. The building is also accessible by lift.

Host family
Host family accommodation is by far the best way to learn a language and to discover a culture beyond a tourist perspective. The families chosen by Cial live 15 to 30 minutes from the school by public transport. You will stay in a single room with breakfast provided.

The school offers a monthly activity programme that will allow you to meet other students and get to know the city. You will enjoy guided visits to museums and monuments, nightlife and sporting activities. On Friday evenings, excursions or typical meals are scheduled. You can also go to one of the surrounding pools or to the beach (the nearest is half an hour away from city centre). Lisbon also has several fitness and sport clubs.
