Don Quijote

Our partner school is situated in the heart of Madrid, just near the famous Gran Via, Alcala and Cibeles, an area easily reached from any part of the Spanish capital. There are 13 beautiful classrooms, all bright, air conditioned and well equipped. Three other smaller rooms are used for private lessons. You can access the Internet for free in the computer room, and the student lounge is the place to relax between classes and talk (in Spanish!) with other students.

Free cultural courses (optional)
In addition to daily Spanish classes, Don Quijote offers an extra daily class on various topics of cultural interest. Thanks to these classes, students have the opportunity to gain a better understanding of Spain, the way of life, customs and traditions... in short, all the elements which help in gaining a better understanding of the Spanish language.

Accomodation

Host family
Host families are located about 30 minutes away from the school and will provide you with a single room with half-board. This experience will not only allow you to practise your Spanish on a daily basis, but also to get to know the home lifestyle of the Madrid people, their customs, their food, and in this way, you will get a taste of the local hospitality.
Shared apartments (from 18 years)
Shared apartments are a very popular option in Spain and give you the opportunity to share with other international students. You will stay in a single room and will share the living room, kitchen, which is fully-equipped, and the bathroom with your flatmates. The apartments each have a television and washing machine.

Leisure

As a cosmopolitan city, and the capital of Spain and the Spanish-speaking world, Madrid offers an abundance of opportunities to go out and discover new cultures: the museums Reina Sofia, Thyssen and Prado are just a few examples. After class, you could also choose to take a relaxing stroll through the Parc El Retiro or the Winter Gardens of the Royal Palace. Famous for its busy nightlife, it will be easy to find somewhere amongst the variety of clubs and bars to go out and party with your friends until late into the night.
