For its juniors programme, our partner school has reserved the best, a university campus in a district known under the name of «Heart of the Bay». Studies, meals, accommodation, activities, everything is organised directly on the campus. This is an optimal solution which offers great comfort to the participants and quality supervision. For students' security and ease, everything is found only a stone's throw away from their bedrooms, from classrooms or sports halls to the cafeteria or cinema. Sports of all kinds, films, bowling, disco evenings... The school also has great excursions in store for you to allow you to immerse yourself fully in the Californian dream, including visits to Monterey Aquarium & Beach, the Six Flags Marine World attractions park, Pier 39, the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco city centre!

In San Francisco, you will take 20 lessons of 50 minutes per week. These classes are given by dynamic and motivated teachers, which love teaching English to young people. The students are split up into six levels and each class has a maximum of 15 people. In order to make the learning more exciting, the school is not content with exercises and offers you games, films and practical projects: learning English is a pleasure!

Accommodation

Residence
The residence is located in the district of Hayward, on the same campus as the classrooms. You will stay in a double room and will share the bathroom. The residence also has lounge areas which are shared by between six and eight students. They are equipped with a refrigerator, a microwave, tables, chairs and armchairs. You also find a study room on each floor. Finally, a computer room, a games room and a laundry room are available to students. The school staff live on-site and the security of the campus is constantly assured. For meals, full board is included. Three meals per day are served in the campus cafeteria, and packed lunches are prepared for excursions.

Leisure

You won't get bored in San Francisco! The school has planned a whole range of activities, one more exciting than the next, especially for you. You will be perfectly supervised and will discover the city in the best conditions. Every week, two excursions (one full-day and one half-day) are organised. Here are some examples of destinations: San Francisco city centre, the famous "Jelly Belly" ice-cream factory, the Six Flags Marine World amusement park, the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz Island. Your afternoons and evenings will also be busy. Sport (football, volleyball, basketball...), films, bowling, and disco outings for juniors will be included in the programme! Have fun!

Passport info
If you are of Swiss or European nationality, no visa is necessary to participate in the programme, insofar as you are in possession of a valid biometric passport which is valid for at least six months following your return date, in accordance with current legislation. Nevertheless, students need to get an electronic travel authorisation, to be completed online a minimum of one week prior to departure (credit card necessary to pay for US administration file handling fees). Flight info
San Francisco is a great destination for a language study trip abroad. However, you must know that the journey to get there is relatively long with, generally, one stopover, depending on which city you are flying from. Most airline companies will be able to offer you an accompaniment service; therefore do not hesitate to contact us for further information. It is necessary, however, that the student feels capable of managing this long journey. Then, all he/she has left to do is to enjoy American life!
