Community Manager
About you
You have a strong track-record of managing communities online, you know what people enjoy sharing on the Web and you love stimulating people’s enthusiasm for a brand. You also enjoy traveling or come from an international background, and working with various languages is an exciting opportunity to you, although you do not need to speak all of them.
In an ideal world, you also have some experience in coordinating people from various backgrounds and have a fairly good grasp of project management; you are dynamic, confident, flexible and reliable.

About the role
We have an opportunity for someone who can relate to our brand and promote it through online social channels.
The right candidate will report to the Online Marketing Manager, and will demonstrate a very creative, flexible and proactive approach to his/her work. He/she will be fluent in English and French or Spanish, with a genuine taste for building communities online. She/he will provide best practice, work procedures and inspiration to colleagues from Online Marketing.
The role is based in our Barcelona office as part of a team of Internet Marketers from various backgrounds, in liaison with our Montreux Headquarters.
Occasional trips to the Head Office in Montreux are likely.

Main tasks
  • Develop and carry out the Social Media strategy for ESL across all markets (Europe & South America)
  • Coordinate content publication across all profiles with the help of the Outreach team
  • Share best practice between all stakeholders
  • Work with the Online Marketing Team to identify opportunities to connect with ESL’s audience online
  • Develop and support the content strategy with the help of the Outreach team
  • Run communication campaigns across all social channels online and build ESL’s community around the industry’s core topics
  • Manage the international profiles (in English)
  • Share ESL’s content online and create a community around key topics whilst building strong relationships with the industry’s influencers
  • Track, monitor and report on all Social Media campaigns
  • Manage a budget for paid advertisement on the social networks

Required skills
  • Strong experience in a similar role, either in-house or in agency
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Keen interest in the latest Internet trends & technologies
  • Proven experience in using industry (social media management / monitoring) tools
  • Outstanding organisation skills
  • Reliable, detail- and result-oriented personality
  • Enthusiastic and creative thinking
  • Great flexibility – must be willing to travel to ESL’s HQ occasionally
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Fluency in English + Spanish or French a must
  • Good knowledge of German or any other European language a considerable asset

Administrative Officer
About the position
The main tasks include the organization for clients residing in Spain of their chosen language studies abroad program and providing personalized advice by telephone and email to these clients.

Main tasks
  • Processing enrolments / reservations for Spanish speaking clients
  • Planning and organising language study trips abroad
  • Advising clients over the phone and via e-mail
  • Managing client files
  • Managing customer service issues

About you

Professional skills
  • You have at least 2 years’ professional experience in an administrative position, experience of language studies abroad is an asset
  • You possess a Degree in tourism or equivalent qualification
  • You are able to work in an autonomous and organised manner, with a high sense of responsibility
  • Your mother tongue is Spanish and you have a very good command of English (minimum level required: B2)
  • You possess a good knowledge of geography

Personal skills
  • You are a cheerful and friendly person
  • As a committed team player, you are flexible and have great listening abilities
  • You have experience and a taste for travelling

Summer Camps

Teachers/Activity leaders
ESL – Language Schools that organises language courses in Switzerland, France and Germany. ESL proposes to its students 4 French schools and German schools for adults and 10 course centres for children and teenagers, where we offer French, German, Italian and English courses.

For our course centres, ESL is currently looking for several english teachers/activity leaders.

Main tasks :
- Teaching English as a foreign language to young students from other countries
- Supervising the activities and excursions organised by ESL
- Supervising various theme evenings

Required skills :
- Experience in holiday camps or in similar structures
- Experience or training in teaching English as a foreign language desired
- Keen interest in sport
- First-aid certificate, qualification in child supervision, swimming certificate, etc. are a plus

Location of our course centres :
Switzerland: Leysin, Zug and Ascona
France: Paris-Igny

Start dates :
From 30st June to 17th August 2013

Minimal duration: 1 week
