School

The Institut Dialoge is situated on the island, at the heart of Lindau's old town, in a peaceful pedestrian alleyway, within direct proximity of the train station. From the terrace, an uninterrupted view of the Alps and Lake Constance gives the school a lot of charm. Modern classrooms, a cafeteria with an outdoor terrace, a library, Internet access, a listening room, a film projection room as well as audiovisual and computer learning material are available to students. The school is distinguished by its suitable atmosphere for learning German in a relaxed manner.

Work experience placement (unpaid)
Following the completion of a course of a minimum duration of 8 weeks, the school offers you the possibility to carry out an unpaid work experience placement with a company in the region.

Accommodation

Host family
This option offers you at once the opportunity to have an insight into the daily life of a German family and the opportunity to put into practice what you have learned in class. You will stay in a single or double room and will share breakfast and the evening meal with your hosts.

Residence (from 18 years)
The school has its own residence, located around 5 minutes away from the school. You will stay in single or double room and will share the kitchen, bathroom, telephone and TV with the other students. The common rooms are cleaned regularly.

Leisure

The school offers a leisure activities program that includes all sorts of sports (tennis, sailing, horse riding, golf, bike riding…), BBQ evenings by the lake, movie screenings and disco evenings. Excursions are also organised to the different places of interest nearby (Mainau island, Meersburg, summer sledding in Austria, walks through the Rappenlochschlucht gorge).
