Canadian families are known for their warm welcome and for making their guests feel right at home. Host families live in Toronto's residential areas, which offers a certain quality of life but means having to use public transport to get to the school. Students stay in single rooms and have half board or full board provided. This option is ideal for immersing yourself in Canadian culture and practising English in everyday life situations. It is also an opportunity to make friends for life in Canada. For more flexibility, it is possible to book accommodation without meals (roomstay). In this case, you have access to the family's kitchen, or your own.

Toronto offers infinite possibilities for leisure activities, and ILSC takes advantage of this in order to create a rich and varied environment after classes. Numerous sports, recreational and cultural activities are available to enjoy each week, including visits to major tourist attractions like the CN Tower, and ferry rides to Toronto Island, museums, art galleries, neighborhood tours, hockey, baseball and basketball games, gardens, bowling, music or film evenings. Excursions of one or more days are also available on weekends. Students can participate in full day excursions to Niagara Falls, and multi-day trips to Quebec to discover French Canadian culture, or to New York City, USA.
