Instituto Intercultural del Caribe (IIC) is a school with over 25 years of experience, located in the sleepy beach village of Sosua. The town is perfect for students who wish to experience the culture and energy of the Dominican Republic, without the hustle and bustle of the bigger cities. The location of the school is ideal for students, being just 2 minutes’ walk from the nearest beach and 15 minutes’ walk from the city center. The school consists of 6 classrooms split between the cozy interior and the luscious onsite tropical garden. Each classroom features a traditional whiteboard and free WIFI. The school also features an on-site library, bookstore, fully stocked kitchen, lounge, and communal terrace. There are several leisure activities organized by the school to experience island life, such as scuba diving, volleyball and more.
