Nueva Lengua

Latin America is a dream location for learning Spanish in an environment which is a complete change of scenery. If you stay with a host family, you will have the ideal opportunity to immerse yourself in the Colombian culture. The families are chosen carefully by our partner schools and are situated around 15 minutes from the language school. They offer accommodation in a single room with half-board. They take care of your laundry once a week and provide you with a house key to enable you to be totally independent.

Please note that the majority of our host families in the area don’t have access to hot water, as the city enjoys a pleasant year-round temperature.

Nueva Lengua’s student house is perfect for travellers who want to experience the vibrant, colourful city of Cartagena while living right above their classroom. Students can expect a single room with an en-suite bathroom, WIFI, a tv and a wardrobe. Linen and towels will be provided, and rooms are cleaned regularly¬. Students can do laundry at the laundromat just 4 minutes away from their home. While in Cartagena, students can try their hand at Colombian cuisine when catering for themselves in the shared kitchen. During spare time, residents of the house can socialise with their fellow students in the lounge or relax by the pool.
