La Rochelle und die Umgebung bietet viele unterschiedliche Möglichkeiten zur Freizeitgestaltung. Der Kursort ist gut gelegen mit ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten. Im September waren fast ausnahmslos deutschsprachige Studenten an der Schule. Die Klassenräume sind grundsätzlich gut. Einige sind aber etwas eng. Der Standort der Schule ist gut und es hat genügend Parkmöglichkeiten in nächster Umgebung. Auch das Meer lässt sich in 5 Minuten zu Fuss gut erreichen. Top Lehrpersonen welche auf die unterschiedlichen Bedürfnisse eingehen. Der Unterricht wurde mit viel Spass und Engagement abgehalten. Sehr sympathische Familie! Guter Kontakt in ungezwungener Atmosphäre und auch Hilfestellungen bei Fragen rund um den Aufenthalt.Schönes Haus, ruhig gelegen mit Garten. Kurze Distanz zum Strand ( ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuss ) Naturgemäss wiederholt sich das Programm während einer längeren Aufenthaltsdauer. Die Ausflüge waren aber gut organisiert und immer in einer lockeren Atmosphäre.

The school was great and the classes were small. The handouts were of varying quality- e.g. some black and white photocopies of photocopies of photos - which were difficult to see. As a beginner I found the course very difficult at first as you are completely immersed in French. Having small class sizes was really useful - especially as all the students were of a similar level. I also think it was good to have a different teacher each week. They all had slightly different teaching techniques and I benefited from the change each week.

War etwas gruppenlastig (Spanien) und viele Schweizer/innen.Der Atlantik ist nicht weit, von den nahegelegenen Verpflegungsmöglichkeiten für die Mittagspause ist lediglich die boulangerie zu empfehlen (gutes Angebot),Manche Klassenräume sind nicht für den mehrstündigen Aufenthalt geeignet. Angaben treffen auf Programm Ü30 zu,Atelier cultur war etwas mühsam, da oft unklar war, worauf die Lehrperson aus war (sie hatte jedoch mit der Schwierigkeit zu tun, dass Personen unterschiedlicher Altergruppen, Franz.-Kenntnisse und Interessen zusammengewürfelt wurden). Ich habe mich mit der Gastfamilie ausgezeichnet verstanden und hatte viel Kontakt mit dem Paar. Das Diner war immer ausgezeichnet. "Faire comme chez toi !" Die Angebote wurden anfangs kurzfristig und unklar kommuniziert. Wurde jedoch in der 2. Wochen deutlich verbessert.Die Ausflüge (Erwachsenenprogramm) sind preiswert und kurzweilig.Am Freizeitangebot nicht teilgenommen, bloss an Ausflügen. Die Rückmeldung anderer dazu waren jedoch sehr positiv. Zwei Wochen sind definitiv die untere Grenze für einen Sprachaufenthalt.Ich hatte jedoch tolle zwei Wochen mit reichlichen Eindrücken erlebt. Ich hatte Glück, es gab aber andere, die es nicht so gut erwischt haben. Es ist ein Stück weit auch Glücks- und Anpassungssache.
