Staying with a host family is without a doubt the best way of learning English and immersing yourself in Hawaiian culture. All of the host families are selected with care by our partner school in order to make you feel at home and practise your English daily with total confidence. Living around 45-60 minutes from the school, you'll stay in a single room with half-board provided.
Aloha Drive student house (minimum 4 weeks)
Just a stone’s throw from Waikiki Beach, this is a fantastic option for students wishing to stay in a social environment – plus it’s got space to store your surfboards and bicycles! Stay in a single or double room (with bunk beds or a double bed, for students travelling together) in a 3-bedroom apartment. The common areas you’ll share with your flatmates include a living room, kitchen and two bathrooms. The school is an easy 15-minute bus ride away or 25 minutes on foot. Free Wi-Fi and onsite laundry facilities are also included.
Waikiki Vista residence
This modern residence is located a 15-minute walk from our partner school ICC Hawaii and from the famous Waikiki Beach! Each single and twin room features a bathroom and a kitchenette, but you’ll also have access to the large cooking area in the student lounge. Bed linen and towels are provided, and cleaning service, free Wi-Fi and air-conditioning are included. In addition to 24h security, the residence boasts modern amenities, coin-operated laundry facilities and an on-site café and restaurant where to meet with other students.
The world’s most beautiful beaches, perfect waves, palm trees, crystal clear water and the gentle trade winds… a trip to Hawaii is a journey to paradise! Honolulu, or “sheltered harbour” in Hawaiian, hasn’t lost one bit of its charm in spite of being a tourist hotspot. The wonderful Ala Moana Beach, just a stone’s throw from the school, is a local favourite and much quieter than nearby Waikiki. The school organises exciting activities like surfing, beach volleyball and hikes to the inactive volcanoes and massive waterfalls, while the bravest students can even try swimming with sharks or dolphins! Weekends are perfect for exploring the island by bus. Here in Oahu, you’ll find lush valleys and sunny cliffs and coves that will take your breath away… the perfect opportunity to take pictures and make memories!
