Our partner school in Rabat is located 500 meters away from the central station, in a fashionable residential area at the heart of the city. The building is new and offers modern facilities. Just steps from the medina, you will learn Arabic with skilled and dedicated teachers. The 3 well-ventilated classrooms are located on the fourth floor of the building, with direct view of the royal palace, and provide ideal learning conditions. Everyday, the school offers free coffee, tea and snacks in the cafeteria. Arab books are available for loan at the library. The school is centrally located, which means all of the city’s major attractions are on your doorstep.

Do you think you've made progress?

Sprachcaffe, Rabat
Duration: 3 weeks

The teachers have university degrees and are well aware of the difficulties students have. They learnt French and English at school. The lessons are conducted only in Arabic, however, if students have trouble doing something, the teacher gives them a brief explanation in English or in French. Visits to Rabat are organized twice a week, to the Archaeological Museum, the National Library, the Roman Necropolis and to other cultural sites. Besides, in the weekend, the school organises excursions to Meknès, Volubilis, Fès, the Essaouira Music Festival, to the desert, etc.

The Arabic language in Morocco is recommendable. The school is a really nice environment to learn arabic as there is lots of space as well as computers with internet. The school also has big garden which is well maintained which gives all students lots space to study. If you don't understand a concept of the language the school offers free tutoring after class. This is what I did as I had some difficulties grasping certain concepts. The tutor was really nice and helpful. Also I joined with most of the trips that the school organised during the week as well big trips in the weekends. In the three weeks that I was in morocco I went on trips with the school every weekend. This way I got to see a lot of Morocco. Going into desert by sitting on a camel was great experience for me as well as staying the night in the desert and sleeping in the open air. I also joined the trip to Fes and Meknes the week before the desert trip. Fes and Meknes was really nice as there was so much to see that even spending one day there wasn't enough. Also the teachers are really committed and helpful and will help you out with anything if you have a problem with something. In my opinion Morocco has so much to offer so if you want to learn arabic definitely go to Morocco.
