The first feeling is not always the right one. First, when I arrived in Delhi, I was like a fish out of water. This city is destabilizing; but in a positive way! In time, you’ll discover new traditions, wonderful places, and especially as has been for me, kind Indian people. Sometimes, the streets are very crowded and this used to scare me. But now, I like to go around by myself and every time be surprised by Indian people and Indian culture.
At the school, I’ve been welcomed with big smiles and all the staff are very helpful and nice. All our questions are patiently answered and we always feel like at home. Another good point about ILSC New Delhi is that, not only they have many students from all over the world, but they also have Indian students so that you can make friends with some local people. I am happy to learn English and at the same time experience a mixture of cultures, especially the Indian culture which is very different from European culture.
