Our partner school is situated in a peaceful, leafy residential area, only 10 minutes' walk to Bournemouth’s city centre and famous beaches. The school occupies two traditional buildings surrounded by luxurious gardens, offering an on-site sports court, a cafeteria and a restaurant with outside dining on two sunny patios. Learning facilities include two computer centres, a library, a multi-purpose/lecture hall, spacious classrooms, many with interactive whiteboards, and free Wi-Fi throughout. The school offers a warm welcoming atmosphere and a great sports and social programme. The second oldest language school in Bournemouth, it has an excellent reputation for the quality of its teaching.

Kings Bournemouth also has an annexe located at St Peters Quarter, right in the town centre, 5 minutes’ walk to the beach and around 10 minutes’ walk to the main school building. Occupying an entire floor of a recently refurbished building, the annexe includes 15 bright, spacious classrooms, many with interactive whiteboards, a computer learning centre, free Wi-Fi access and a large social area fitted with a wide flat-screen TV.

KINGS, Bournemouth
Duration: 11 weeks

I spent my stay in the south of England, in a city called Bournemouth. Bournemouth is located directly by the sea and is surrounded by many green parks which invite you to go for nice walks. The climate is not typical of England's weather but is a lot milder and with less rain (in comparison with the rest of the island). I can only furter recommend Bournemouth, as it is was a really great place to stay for me. Thanks ESL.

KINGS, Bournemouth
Duration: 2 weeks

We were not at Bournemouth’s Kings Colleges for music classes but for English classes! It was a very serious school: a studious but nice atmosphere, students from all over the world, it was really rich. As for the Bourne family who welcomed us, they were 100% British: a little plus to improve our conversation skills… And then there was Bournemouth, a garden city by the sea… Anyway, it was a wonderful stay for young students like us!

Katia Delseth

I chose a Kings course because my agency ESL recommended it and I'm happy with this choice. The Lecturers have taught me in an interesting way and it's easy to understand them. It's so good because the staff and teachers are friendly and there are lots of activities in the Summer. I like the mentality of the people they are very friendly and open. My plan for the future is I'm going to work in an office for Garage Opel. It's a beautiful experience — you can meet a lot of people from around the world. I would advise everyone to do it!

Bournemouth is said to have perhaps the best beach in the whole of England! Apart from being one of the UK’s most popular, safe and friendly seaside towns, well known for its picturesque parks and gardens, it is also a university town, which means that there is a vibrant student atmosphere too, with a cosmopolitan choice of pubs, cafes, restaurants and nightclubs. With water sports and numerous sporting facilities, this is also a great place to enjoy an active outdoor lifestyle after lessons. Join one of the four local gyms within walking distance of the school, learn to sail, windsurf or kite-surf, go mountain biking in the New Forest, swim, play beach volleyball, tennis or golf…take a trip in the Bournemouth Balloon – a giant helium balloon – for a great birds-eye view of this beautiful patch of coastline! Our partner school offers a rich and varied social programme combining sports, drama, music, lectures, and social outings, as well as excursions on weekends to places like Bath, Oxford, Salisbury, Stonehenge, Winchester or Brighton – not to mention London, which is only 2 hours away by train...above all, don't forget your camera!
