Classes are held in groups of up to 8 students and rotate among iconic and authentic public spaces across the city, such as Brooklyn Bridge Park, Essex Market or Brookfield Place. Each location is selected with the comfort and fun of the students in mind to provide a sense of immersion that traditional classrooms can’t compare to. After classes, students can adventure beyond their lessons, as the school offers daily supervised afternoon activities to explore NYC. From walking tours of Brooklyn to sports trips to Coney Island – students will spend their time like a true New Yorker!

For students who want to live in 24/7 immersion, a homestay is a perfect option to see the great city of New York through the eyes of a local student. Each home is within 20 to 35 minutes of the meeting points for the classes. Students will stay in twin rooms with access to a shared bathroom and WIFI. The host family will provide linen and a towel per student, while not every house has laundry facilities – laundromats are available for a fee. Families will provide students with breakfast and dinner, while lunch will be given as a packed lunch.
