How long are ESL’s language courses for children and teens?

At ESL, we can tailor your child’s language course to the length of their choosing, but typically a junior language programme will last between 1 to 9 weeks. Our High School programmes are longer, and teens can choose to stay for one semester or up to one year.

How many people will be in one language class?

At our partner schools, children will be in a class with 15 participants maximum, meaning they’ll benefit from some personalized help from the teacher and make fast progress with their language skills. Smaller groups also encourage children to chat with all of their peers, making close friends and developing communication skills.

What does the cost of the junior language course include?

A junior language course from ESL will include language study, full-board accommodation, plus any activities or excursions that are explicitly mentioned in the study programme. However, there may be additional activities that incur an additional cost. We also recommend that students bring $100 of pocket money per week to cover additional activities, phone credit, snacks, drinks, souvenirs, and any other costs.
