It’s a really nice school, the teachers are really interesting, really kind with the students, the mood, the atmosphere inside the school is perfect, you can speak easily. When I arrived it was really easy to make new friends. Everyone is kind and nice. I think that because of this school, now I can speak English more fluently and it has been really good for me. My host family was really kind to me, I was happy about that. The accommodation was good. For me it was a perfect experience of life. If I had the opportunity to do another course, I would! Perfect

When I decided to go to Brighton for two months, I didn’t know that I would meet so many people. I found some really good friends there. The other students were nice and the atmosphere very laid-back. St. Giles is a good school, with qualified teachers, a good organization and a very good location (close to the city centre and to the residence). Brighton is an amazing city, you cannot get bored there. There are so many things to do (hundreds of pubs, clubs, tea rooms, restaurants, shopping centres…)! And it’s close to London! This language stay was amazing; one of the best experiences I’ve had so far!

The school is very friendly, very open. People always come and speak to you. The teachers are energetic and friendly – they are like friends who teach you. The lessons are different and interesting and work on all our language skills. My home-stay family is a friendly retired lady who speaks a lot with me and explains everything about life here. It’s all great.

What a great decision to go to Brighton! I loved everything from A to Z, from the meals to the clubbing! I will never forget this city and I will definitely come back! For both young people and adults, Brighton is an amazing place: the beach, the leisure activities, the clubs, and – most of all – its people, are all worth a mention.

Thanks to St. Giles School, my new friends and I visited many cities around Brighton for a good price. For 10-15 pounds, we went to Cambridge, Bath and to many other places. It was great – even though guided tours always stress me out a little, but I think it’s normal. I made plenty of new friends with whom I will definitely keep in touch; it was amazing to meet people from other countries and different cultures. This language stay helped me improve my English skills, but it was also very rewarding from a personal point of view. Also, I never had such good teachers in my whole life! We had a lot of fun with them, they were really amazing!

Every day the lessons are very interesting. We study grammar and vocabulary and there is a good atmosphere. My English is better than it was in Switzerland. I am now Intermediate level and started at Elementary. I have made lots of progress. The teachers are very good and kind. My host family was very good and nice to me. They did a lot of things with me, for example, lots of speaking over dinner. I had a good relationship with them and the food was good. I was too busy to attend many Social Programme activities but I did go to the Diamond Jubilee Tea Party and took part in the Sports Relief charity mile. I made use of all the schools' facilities. The food in the school café is very good and Antonio, the bookshop manager is nice! THe school staff is very good and friendly. Sue Laker was particularly helpful. I was very happy with this experience. Brighton i s a good city for people to visit to lean English. It was a pleasure to be at St Giles and I would recommend the school.

During my stay in Brighton, I studied at St. Giles International. The teachers were really good and the activities organized by the school were very interesting and varied. Everyone was so nice and helpful; the staff was always available in case of any problem. The city is very cool; true, it rains a lot, but when the sun comes out, the beach is very pleasant. People are welcoming and open; loads of them are artists or foreigners. Girls, save some money to go shopping! There are shops everywhere, as well as the pubs, which often organize student nights with affordable prices. Furthermore, Brighton is 30 minutes away from Gatwick Airport, so if your family or friends want to visit, it’s very easy! To sum up, my stay was a success; everything was well organized and I really loved it.

I spent two very nice weeks in Brighton. The city is very welcoming and the people nice. I studied at St. Giles International, in the Platinum section, and I had a private teacher. My advice is to choose an accommodation in the city centre. My host family was really welcoming.

Brighton is a cool and open-minded city, where I felt confortable since day 1! In Brighton, you can find amazing pubs and clubs every single day of the week. Also, there are plenty of restaurants and – really – I was never disappointed! Every restaurant I tried was good. My host family was amazing, very open-minded and welcoming! The school was also very good; the teachers were really nice and motivating. Brighton is an extraordinary city, where you can make new friends and do anything you want…

I have good memories of my trip to England, especially of my host family! I was placed in a welcoming, simple, lively and pleasant family that encouraged me to speak. At the school, the atmosphere was really great and I attended high quality courses.
In the school as well as in the city, there was great cultural diversity: the students come from all over the world with the same goal: learning the language. We were often together during activities. As I am writing these few lines to you, I am preparing my second language study trip, still in Brighton, still in the same school.

My stay was perfect and I intend to return there. I really liked Brighton as it is a city which has a lot of what London has to offer but it is smaller and more practical. This city allowed me to meet many people who I wouldn't have had the opportunity to meet elsewhere and thanks to the school, I was able to get to know students from various backgrounds and cultures. My host family? I had the impression that I was at home!! Also, as they were real Arsenal supporters, I was often able to go to see matches for free in London.
