Formule ideale pour les plus de 50 ans avec cours et visite de la Valette.Le one to one est trop court en 45 minutes peut etre grouper 2 lecons en 1h 30.Pour ceux qui veulent progresser il faut prendre les cours de conversations l après-midi car le matin c est grammaire et vocabulaire. L ambiance est tres bonne et l ecole est tres bien située pres du terminus de bus à l entrée de la Valette.Age moyen 30 ans avec majorité chinois, koreen et japonais, cela ne m a pas posé de probleme ,l ambiance etait bonne en cours.Incitez les plus de 50 ans a prendre un appartement , il y en a beaucoup pas trop cher et la Valette est tres sûre pour une femme seule. Heureusement que je ne suis pas allée à Saint Julian où il y a beaucoup de constructions en hauteur avec beaucoup de restaurants ressembe a nos bords de mer..... Le cout dela vie est pareil à la France , j ai trouvé assez cher sauf les transports publics.

Le personnel de l'école était très agréable et qualifié. Le pays comme ses habitants sont accueillants et chaleureux. Les chaises munies de tablettes ne sont pas pratiques pour écrire même si je comprends que ce soit plus simple pour le pédagogie et les travaux de groupe. J'ai payé 35€ pour du matériel scolaire et ne suis repartie qu'avec des feuilles imprimées pour les cours que j'ai eu et pas de manuel. 35€ pour 8 feuilles ça fait cher. Les bus à Malte passent quand ils veulent mieux vaut prévoir plus de temps que nécessaire pour le trajet. Le ferry ne fonctionne pas s'il y a du vent, donc ne pas prévoir ce moyen de transport exclusivement. Une semaine c'est trop cours pour faire les excursions de l'école mais le personnel est disponible pour tout renseignement, les offres sont variées.

Malte est une très belle île, en quelques semaines il est possible d'en visiter la quasi-totalité. C'est un pays assez dynamique (en fonction de la période j'imagine), pour ma part j'y suis allé en Novembre-Décembre, donc relativement calme mais agréable.Il est vrai que pour une immersion totale en anglais il y a mieux, car les Maltais parlent évidemment le maltais entre eux, et beaucoup de choses sont écrites en maltais. Il faut également savoir que les maltais possèdent leur propre accent quand ils parlent anglais. Mais pour vivre un dépaysement et découvrir une nouvelle culture c'est idéal ! L'école est vraiment agréable, superbe terrasse au dernier étage. L'ambiance entre les étudiants y est bonne.Par contre les personnes de la réception ne sont pas vraiment agréables, et pas non plus réactifs si vous avez un soucis, notamment avec le logement. POINTS POSITIFS: -Les salles sont bien équipées (tableaux interactifs, mais tous les professeurs ne s'en servent pas forcément)-Dans certains cours, il est possible de se retrouver uniquement avec 4 ou 5 étudiants-La qualité des cours dépend évidement du prof, certains sont d'excellents pédagogues-En tant que Français, je n'ai rencontré quasiment aucun natif français (pendant la période hivernale), ce qui m'a permis de progresser plus vite.-La durée des cours sur une journée (si l'on choisi "anglais intensif") est idéale pour progresser rapidement, tout en profitant du pays : de 9h à 14h30 avec 1h de pause.POINTS NEGATIFS:-Nous payons pour du matériel de classe, mais en réalité pendant les cours on ne nous distribue que des photocopies.-Pour le test de niveau, on ne nous évalue que sur la grammaire et la compréhension écrite (pas de compréhension/expression orale).-Les cours "intensifs" c'est 1h30 en plus par jour, et c'est un cours de conversation. C'est-à-dire que l'on parle pendant 1h30 avec ces camarades, malheureusement personne ne corrige nos éventuelles fautes. -Dans certains cours, nous pouvons être 10 étudiants (contrairement à ce qui est indiqué)-Certains profs ne sont pas très bons... Je ne recommande pas du tout les appartements partagés, beaucoup trop chers pour la qualité du service. Beaucoup de choses ne marchent pas ou sont cassées, les parties communes sont sales et l'école n'intervient pas pour améliorer les conditions de vie des étudiants. En revanche cela permet de rencontrer et de vivre avec d'autres étudiants de l'école.Contrairement à ce qui est indiqué, la plupart des logements (appartements ou famille d'accueil) sont plutôt à 30minutes de l'école. Il faut donc payer le bus et/ou le bateau. L'école propose une excursion par jour (visite avec un guide de tel musée, tel quartier, telle île). C'est cher pour la qualité du service encore une fois, mais cela permet de rencontrer d'autres étudiants d'autres écoles.L'école ne propose pas de loisirs ou de jeux.Une "fête de bienvenue" est proposée par l'école, mais en réalité ils posent quelques petites choses à grignoter et à boire sur une table lors du premier lundi, entre midi et deux. Mais personne n'est présent (pas de profs ni de représentants de l'école) uniquement 3-4 nouveaux élèves.Pour accéder à une vie étudiante dynamique, et pour rencontrer d'autres étudiants, il est évident que c'est à nous de faire l'effort d'aller vers les autres, de proposer des sorties, etc. Et l'expérience est excellente !

Quand je suis arrivée il m'était très dur de faire des phrases (niveau A2), mais en repartant je pouvais tenir une conversation simple (niveau B1+). Et ce car :-j'ai fourni pas mal de travail personnel en rentrant tous les jours de l'école-grâce à certains professeurs, qui s'impliquent beaucoup-et surtout car j'ai rencontré beaucoup d'autres étudiants, fais des activités avec eux, des sorties, balades, restaurants, cela permet de pratiquer intensément l'anglais. »

The host family was very nice friendly and friendly, the room was perfect. In summer, it was a bit hot and there were mosquitoes. People at the school were very helpful and friendly, we had very good teachers. The school activities’ programme was great and they all went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The weather in Malta is beautiful – pure sun! There was a good atmosphere among students, we helped and supported each other at all times.

I am very glad I have chosen EasySL in Malta for my first linguistic experince. The wellcoming and the transfer from the airport was very well organized. I really like it here! The atmosphere at school and with my flatmates is great. The weather is nice: sometimes it rains, but usually the sun shines. My English is getting better, and I make the most of the landscapes and the culture. ESL organisation has worked perfectly so far. The apartment is pretty big and fully equipped. At this time of the year, sometimes it’s a bit cold, but in general I am very pleased with my stay.

Host family
Sharing the daily life and experiences of a Maltese family is an excellent opportunity to immerse yourself in the culture of the island and to practise your English outside of the classroom in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Located about 30 minutes from the school, you'll have your own room with a desk for your studies, and share breakfast and dinner with your host family every day of the week.

Shared apartments
Our partner school also offers accommodation in apartments in Sliema, around 25 minutes from the school itself. You'll have your own room and share the bathroom, kitchen, laundry room and living room with your flatmates. Staying in a shared apartment is a great way to meet other international students, to try out new Maltese recipes and to share the unique experience of a language course in the heart of the Mediterranean.
