My stay at Kings in Boston was very successful. I loved the idea of travelling far away on my own. When I arrived at the airport, the adventure started. Kings Boston is located in a natural, beautiful setting, far from the noise of the city. Classes are provided by motivated, native teachers, and this makes the learning process faster. I improved a lot! Also, during classes we talked about interesting topics, and what’s cool is that we watched many videos, news reports and movies. I find this teaching method very practical; it’s different from the traditional ones that I experienced at school or uni. Another thing I liked a lot was that my afternoons were free, so I could explore Boston from 12:30pm until late at night. Kings gives you a lot of independence and freedom. If you want to burn off the greasy and boring food of the cafeteria, the school organises many sport activities every day, and there is also a gym (open until late). All the other activities are as cool as the sports ones: you’ll be able to spend a day in an amusement park, a weekend in Washington or New York, a night on a boat or a day at the beach (but be careful, as some activities can be very expensive, from 25 to 300 dollars).

Rooms are not luxurious – they’re basic and not great, but at least they’re big enough for two people.

In general, I spent 3 unforgettable weeks at Kings. Boston has thousands of things to offer, and if I can give you a piece of advice, travelling alone is even better, as on site you’ll meet so many people from around the world!

I couldn’t be more grateful to ESL for treating me so well. They provided a fast and efficient service, managing to adapt the programme to my personal needs in a record time… 3 weeks after contacting them, I was traveling to Boston. It was the best choice ever! Boston has a great student atmosphere, as two of its universities – Harvard and MIT – are amongst the most prestigious in the world. It’s easy to move around the city, which has one of the oldest downtowns in the US. I lived on campus, where there were tons of activities every day to help students know each other. I felt at home from the very fist day; everyone was really friendly and made you feel like you belonged. I made great friends from different countries, which really enriched my stay. Good memories!

This summer, I rediscovered the city of Boston, MA.: an active and modern city full of history, welcoming people and small islands (with beaches) that can be reached by ferry in less than one hour. There is always something to do there. The metro took us to the city centre in 30 minutes. My classes and my accommodation were on a typical American campus. This way, going from our room to our classroom only took a few minutes and we enjoyed quiet, green and secured facilities – with a gym, cafeteria tennis courts and more. The teaching of English was of very good quality and I made a lot of progress.

The course included English modules in the morning, five days a week. Teachers were warm and caring, the other students were really nice and the learning conditions were great; all this made my stay very successful.

During my stay in Boston, I dived into the American life. Boston is a very pleasant city, with an important and interesting historical past. Its architecture successfully combines English (Newbury St) and American charm. People are very caring and warm.

Kings College’s teachers are very motivated and this is why all the courses are interesting.

It was an amazing experience that, apart from learning a language, allowed me to meet lots of people from different backgrounds.

I decided to take a language course at Kings Boston because the school is located on an American campus and also because Boston is a famous university town with lots of students. The staff and teachers were amazing. I like all the people I met there. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to meet such fantastic people. The activities were great too and included NBA games, NHL games, museum visits, etc. I really love the English language and the USA, which is why I have decided to move to LA. My experience in Boston was simply amazing !

"Kings Colleges was for me an experience. I had the opportunity to live trough two different periods at this school. In fact, I arrived during the summer, the campus was like a holiday camp. The place was very nice for teens wanting mostly fun. After that, when the summer was over, the American college began taking courses, giving way to a more studious and more mature atmosphere. Moments of sharing are now more interesting and more intercultural and the possibilité of living a student life in the U.S. contributes so much.".
