Cambridge TESOL Diploma
The Cambridge TESOL Diploma allows you to develop the language knowledge and teaching skills required for teaching English to students of all ages.
The programme takes place over a total of 8 weeks and prepares candidates for the Cambridge Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT). It is composed of 2 different 4-week training courses, taking place one after the other: the TESOL-TKT Certificate and the TKT-Young Learners Certificate (see information below). At the end of the programme, candidates have the option to take the Cambridge University TKT exam and the TKT-Young Learners exam.

TESOL-TKT Certificate
Combining theory and practice, the course aims to teach candidates the fundamentals of TESOL in order to prepare them for the Cambridge Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT). During the program, students will have the opportunity to develop their teaching skills by leading ESL activities, observing ESL classes and through peer teaching.
The program includes 3 modules:
Module 1: describing language and language skills, background and giving instructions
Module 2: planning and preparing lessons and selecting and using resources and materials
Module 3: managing the teaching and learning process and the classroom

TKT-Young Learners Certificate
The “TKT-YL Program” will help you gain the knowledge, strategies and skills required to teach and engage young learners. You will develop confidence through focusing on interesting topics like how children develop and learn, as well as second language acquisition activities, games, crafts and songs that younger learners love. The program includes a practicum week at a local daycare, preschool or elementary school.
The program includes 4 parts:
Part 1: knowledge of young learners and principles of teaching English to young learners
Part 2: planning and preparing young learner lessons
Part 3: teaching young learners
Part 4: assessing young learner learning through classroom-based assessment
Program duration: 4 weeks
