Staying with a host family during your English course is full of perks. In addition to constantly practising the language at meal times and during casual conversation with your family, you’ll be able to fully immerse yourself in Welsh culture and experience life like a local! You’ll have your own private room (doubles available for students travelling together), and enjoy half board plus free Wi-Fi, bed linens and towels. Most host families live about 20-45 minutes from the language school by public transport.

Any student under 18 years of age must book a return airport transfer and full-board homestay accommodation.

​​This residence is located in a modern building in the buzzing centre of Cardiff, surrounded by multiple cafés and just a 15-minute walk from the school. There are three room types available. Standard single rooms have an en suite bathroom, a wardrobe, a desk, a chair, free Wi-Fi, and a shared kitchen. Studio rooms are also available for single students, they include the same furnishings as the single standard rooms alongside a private kitchen. Lastly, the penthouse room is available for single students or two students travelling together, it’s ideal for long-term students with a separate en-suite bedroom, a double bed, and dining space. Students will be provided with bed linen which they can clean for a fee using the onsite laundry facilities — students should bring their own towels. Students will need to cook for themselves and keep their personal space clean, however, there will be a weekly cleaning service for the communal kitchens of the standard rooms. The residence provides several facilities for students to enjoy, including a gym, a games room, a study room, and a multimedia room. The residence also organises social activities for you to meet your fellow students!
