Lexis Culinary Academy

With access to high-quality fresh seafood, a booming foodie scene, and a thriving restaurant industry – Noosa is the ideal location for a budding culinary student – and this campus is the perfect place for you to experience it. Located in the heart of Noosa’s restaurant district, the two-floor building is equipped with 12 classrooms, brand-new training kitchens, break rooms, a balcony with outdoor seating, and a cafe, restaurant, and bar which are open to the public. Each classroom is equipped with a traditional whiteboard and 80-inch television to aid the teaching of classes of around 12 students. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus, and the entire premises are wheelchair accessible.

Host family

Host families are carefully selected by the school. This type of accommodation is an excellent means of immersing yourself in the Australian culture. You'll be housed in a single room and benefit from breakfast only or half-board during the week and full board at weekends. This popular accommodation option will allow you to practise your English as much as possible.

In addition to host families, it's possible to stay in one of the student houses made available by our partner school. They are all located around 20 minutes' walking distance from the school and contain 4 to 5 double or twin rooms (single use possible), a fully-equipped kitchen, a shared bathroom, a common room (living/dining room), a garden and free Wi-Fi. Bed linen, laundry and ironing facilities are all available. Generally, one bedroom per student house has a private bathroom (extra charge). The school also has 2 two-bedroom apartments.
