Our partner school consists of six buildings, all of which are located within 2-3 minutes walking distance of each other. Each has its own style but all of them have an atmosphere of warmth and community. Put together, the campuses offer more than 90 classrooms, 12 computer labs and Wi-Fi access throughout. Six lounges are available for students to relax and socialise with other international learners over a coffee or snack. The school's central location right in the heart of the city is conveniently close to public transport and all that Downtown Vancouver has to offer.

Vancouver is a beautiful city, with a lot of interesting things to do. People there are relatively polite and respectful , a lot of more than in France. Unfortunately, there is a lot of Homless people in this city. Th school is in Downtown , so it's easy to found every shop and restaurant that you want nearby , by Walking. It's in the Zone 1 so it's perfect for people who only have a compass card for only Zone 1. There is almost 70% of Koren and Japonese in this school. After came Bresilian ( almost 10%), Mexicain , Colombian , Germain ….There is not a lot of french people. I only meet 3 french speakers in 3 months in this school. We are ask to work in group in almost every class, everyday. So if your not a sociable person it can be challenging for you. Teacher are nice and funny , is not as strict as a regular school , so you can talk freely in class , and say your point of view without problem. I was in APT CO-LIVING. You have your own apartment , with your own bathroom and a little kitchen. It's really small but it's ok because it's for only one person. Your are independant and can come and leave freely. You need to use a badge to enter so it's safe. There is the WIFI in each apartment, and some kitchen tool. The Big problem was the silverfish infestation. There were silverfish who come through the piping or other place. Its was so irritating to deal with this , they really need to called the Pest control in this building. There is an activity department in this school with a calendar of activity. If you want to join you need to pay . The price is different for each activity.

ILSC, Vancouver
Duration: 16 weeks

Going to Canada, what’s more to Vancouver, had been my dream since I was a little girl… My stay showed me that it was worth waiting for! An amazing and memorable experience throughout 3 seasons… late summer, autumn, early winter! The colours and landscapes were gorgeous, the city was magical and the population, exceptional. My host family was just amazing and unique and took me to discover its country and culture in the best way possible. The school was really good and offered many extracurricular activities, and the teachers were excellent. Thanks to its location, we had the opportunity to go skiing in Whistler, to go to the Rockies, to visit Vancouver Island and to go to the USA on a shopping trip. I recommend this city to everyone since you will make beautiful encounters and have the time of your life!

Vancouver is my dream destination in Canada. It is a beautiful city with the beach, the sea and gorgeous landscapes. My 8-week language course there is one of the best things I have done in my life and I would do it again right now. Everything was perfectly organised, starting with ESL, the journey, the host family and the school. Everything went very well. And all the people I met were unique! Try it out...

I chose Canada because it really is a beautiful country. Canada offers gorgeous landscapes. I chose Vancouver because it is a really beautiful city, where there is a lot to see and to do. My host family was very nice but also kind of “crazy”. I had a wonderful time in Vancouver. The school was good, I met many people from different countries. Besides, the teachers were funny and dedicated.
