Students stay on campus, whether in a single or twin room (depending on availability), and a few triple or quadruple rooms are also available. The students are placed together with students of the same sex but with different mother tongues. Rooms include an en suite bathroom and have a beautiful view of the Alps or the nearby forest. The residence is supervised by the school staff, who stay on site on a 24-hour basis. Bed linen and towels are provided and students may have their laundry washed once a week. The 3 daily meals are taken in the restaurant of the campus and complimentary fruit is offered to participants between meals.
Host family (only available in July and August)
In summer, students may choose to stay with a German family in the town of Lindenberg or in neighbouring villages. Families are carefully selected by the school, which ensures monitoring on site. The young learners stay in single or twin rooms (some of them with shared facilities with the host family). Breakfast is served in the host family but lunch and dinner are served in the campus restaurant, with the other students. Many families live walking distance away from the campus. If the journey time is longer, students will either take a public bus or will be taken to school by the school’s staff/host family. In the evenings the students will be brought back to their host families by car. The host family option is only recommended for students with language level B1 and up.
During their free time, students can choose from a wide range of activities. Football, volleyball, basketball, handball, badminton, mountain-biking, mini-golf or swimming will delight sports lovers while aspiring artists will enjoy arts and crafts workshops, including introduction classes to silk and glass painting, woodworking and sculpture. The games rooms will provide the setting for pool, ping-pong, table football and electronic darts contests.
Lindenberg itself also offers a wealth of leisure options, such as cinemas, nightclubs, swimming in the Waldsee, ice-skating and summer curling tracks.
The trips organised by the school will also enable you to explore the region around Lake Constance and the Austrian Alps. At the weekend, full-day excursions take students to a variety of places, including Munich, Stuttgart, Switzerland, or the famous castles of the King of Bavaria, Neuschwanstein and Linderhof.

In winter, students can take ski and snowboard lessons 5 afternoons per week after classes. Each Saturday, students will go to a big ski resort for the whole day. The ski pass is included in the price. For maximum security, the school always checks the weather forecast and the skiing condition. Skis, ski boots and snowboards are included, but students should bring their own gloves and goggles.
The ski option and snowboard option is offered from 06.01.19 - 09.03.19 and 05.01.20 - 29.02.2020.
These options are not included in the package price.
