During the week, you will benefit from two time slots of daily activities (in the afternoons and evenings) with your activity leaders. In the afternoons, you will be able to practise many sports (beach volleyball, minigolf, badminton, squash, ping-pong, indoor climbing, basketball, inline-skating, swimming, etc.), go on excursions or play games. On Saturdays, you will go into town in order to enjoy current cultural events, including festivals, an open-air circus, the flea market, etc. On Sundays, you will go on a full-day excursion in the surroundings of Freiburg. On-site, the activity leaders will also offer you the chance to take part in a wide range of optional activities. You will see that Freiburg offers many opportunities for sports and fun. It is a green city with a wide network of cycle lanes and sunny weather throughout the year.

COURSE PLUS ADRENALINE

In the green, mountainous city of Freiburg, there are plenty of opportunities for fresh air and adventure. In this programme, you’ll zoom around some of the 175 mountain biking trails around the city for some unforgettable views, fresh air and thrills alongside your German lessons.

Programme This programme includes daily language lessons alongside three mountain biking sessions per week.

COURSE PLUS AMUSEMENT PARK

As the largest theme park in Germany, Europa-Park is a must-see for thrill-seekers in Freiburg. Choose this programme to experience the adrenalin-fuelled rides, beautifully created parks, and hours of shows and entertainment for yourself!

Programme This programme includes daily language lessons and one trip to Europa-park on Sunday. All travel and entry tickets are provided by the school.

COURSE PLUS CREATIVE ARTS

Description Unleash your creative side while immersing yourself in the German language in this unique course that combines language lessons alongside a variety of creative workshops, classes and lessons. With Freiburg’s green surroundings and vibrant student culture, artistic students will find inspiration around every corner, and the German won’t stop flowing, as interactions happen around the topic they’re most passionate about: creativity!

Programme This programme consists of daily language lessons alongside three creative art sessions per week. Creative Arts sessions will explore many facets of expression, including street art (both graffiti and body art), basic painting techniques, T-shirt design, self-portraits, and more. You will finish the course with a greater appreciation of the arts and inspired with the knowledge to continue at home.

Level required Any level is welcome.

Materials Students should bring clothes that can get stained.
