This is a classic option, whose benefits are proven. Staying with a family means being fully immersed in the language and practicing German even after classes with your host family. You can opt for a single room or share a double room with another participant speaking a different mother tongue. The bathroom and other rooms of the house are shared with the host family, who will not necessarily be a traditional family, but may also consist of a single person or a mono-parental family. The commute from your accommodation to the school will be fairly short. You will choose from breakfast only and half board. In both cases, you will enjoy daily contact with the inhabitants of this open-minded city.
