Our partner school enjoys an ideal situation in Alghero just 5 minutes’ walk to the beach and to the heritage centre. Its skilled and enthusiastic teachers have been teaching Italian for more than 10 years. The air-conditioned classrooms welcome small groups of students (8 to 10 students max) who can take full advantage of effective teaching methods based on communication. Other facilities include a library, a garden/patio, a student assistance service and free Wi-Fi internet. In this stimulating environment, you will get familiar with the Italian language and make significant progress in a minimum amount of time.
The school offers thematic courses to learn the language in a more relaxed setting, including Italian PLUS watersports, Italian PLUS tennis and Italian PLUS cookery. The school offers four free activities per week (movie nights, city outings, etc.) as well as guided tours of historical sites, including the Nuragic monuments of Palmavera and Torralba, the necropolis of Anghelu Ruju, the prehistoric sanctuary of Monte d’Accordi and the roman city of Turris Lybissonis. Get on board a minibus or a jeep and explore the Gennargentu and Limbara mountains. Visit the Supramonthe and beautiful Gorroppu Gorge, the deepest in Europe. Sports lovers can also rent bikes to discover the superb surroundings of Alghero. If you would like some peace and quiet, spot a quiet bay on the sumptuous coastline and dip into the lukewarm water or bask in the generous Mediterranean sunshine!
